Another Season & The Beginning of A New One
Feb 11th, 2010 by Coach DeLorm
So I know I have not written for awhile, but just wanted to reach out to everyone and congrats on a great football season. As coaches we have different standards on how we judge a successful season. Some do it with wins and losses, but personally I judge the season on improvement of the team. I have found that by approaching it this way your players and the team overall benefits rather then record books. Anyways, Some crazy things have happened over the past week here is a recap:
- The Aints won the Superbowl
- A 13 year old junior high quarterback verbally committed to play college football at USC.
- National signing day came and went with no real surprises.
- The college coaching carousel kicked into full gear with Lane Kiffin jumping ship to USC and setting off a domino affect throughout the nation.
- The NFL is on the verge of a major labor dispute.
- Bowden retired and Joe pa is on his way out.
2010 has already seen some crazy football coaching changes and soon the football landscape will change even more if the labor dispute gets a head of steam in the NFL.
