How to Build Your College Football Program

I wanted to touch on the subject of how to build a solid college football program from the coaches perspective. Everyone knows that a college program is only as good as its players, but I would have to disagree with that opinion. I would have to say that on the college level you are only as good as your coaches.
Any football program can go get talented football players, but coaches develop them into a “team”. Below is a video that I found concerning college recruiting and coaching football on the college level.
If you are interested in getting to the college ranks as a coach then I would contact local colleges and see if you can volunteer or even coach a little as an assistant. One of the attributes or skills that every great college football is the ability to see himself and his program. Below is a nice video that discusses the recruiting process:
